Jane was trained by Phil M Jones in 2011 and then created her ethical sales skills curriculum for people who hate the whole sales thing but need to sell.
What is ethical selling?
If you have set up in business or run a not-for-profit organisation it is a safe bet that you are passionate about your product or service. The key to selling is to translate that passion into a simple and positive buying experience.
Ongoing sales don’t come from pushing people into purchases that they do not want. They come from delivering great customer care, getting referrals and having happy customers that sell your product for you.
Ethical sales training is steeped in emotional intelligence with the purpose of developing the skills needed to sell a great product at a fair price, to people that need it and want it. It is about a joined up process that puts the focus on the customer’s needs.
Ethical selling goes hand-in-hand with social media; it involves an open, transparent conversation with potential customers that allows you to identify how you can meet their needs.
In house team training
I design and deliver bespoke sales training for your team that enables people to understand why they are uncomfortable selling, recognise what may have gone wrong in the past, overcome their blocks and build confidence in selling their goods and services in the knowledge that the customer is being treated well.
To effectively grow your business through ethical selling, the development of soft skills (emotional and social intelligence) and an awareness of how what you do meets your target market’s needs is essential.
As part of your sales training I will:
- Get to know your company, your current practices, aims and ideal customers.
- Develop a training and coaching programme for you based around the 6 core sales skills, tailored to your specific products/services and team.
- Work with you to set action plans which will be followed up at agreed times.
- Provide ongoing support.
- Review progress and address any issues.
This training is offered as 1 or 2 day course, or a series of sessions over a longer period.

Can you train us in cold calling?
